"Razor and the Boogie Men are a stoner punk band from St. Petersburg, Florida. RATBM's debut self titled EP was released in January, 2020. This EP drew inspiration from horror punk, surf rock and the blues. RATBM's early performances often drew comparison to the Dead Kennedys and The Misfits. Their follow up EP "I Want Nothing" saw the band delve deeper into their punk roots. "I want Nothing" was recorded live at the WMNF885 radio station and released in June, 2020. RATBM's 2023 release, "Roach Motel", took the punk influences that were so prevalent on their first two EPs and ran them through a psychedelic filter. "Roach Motel" takes inspiration from Stoner Doom, psychedelic rock and new wave disco. RATBM has opened for punk heavy weights, Strike Anywhere and feminist punk rockers, War On Women. In 2023 RATBM became featured artists for Quilter Amplifiers. RATBM’s 2025 release, “Glass Of The Gods” takes a new direction for the Boogiemen. Inspired by copious amounts of bong rips, Weedeater, and The Melvin’s. GOTG focuses more on a heavy, groovy stoner metal vibe that RATBM has yet to embark on. RATBM’s second 2025 release, “Tumbled Weed” takes the prior bong ripping Influences to their peak with waves of sonic punk rock intensity and Heavy stoner metal grooves."
