Kristopher James is a 41-year-old local legend in the Manatee community.
Known for his Soul and Americana music style, this singer song writer has been involved with Oscura since its early days.
"I wrote my first real song before my son's first birthday. I thought that if I wanted to show him to follow his dreams, I need to follow mine first." And that he has! Over the past 11 years, Kristopher has gained 6,000+ followers on social media for his breathtaking talent and released an official album in 2019 complete with all original works. His latest single "Just Breath" released on July 14th , 2024 and really resonated with the Bradenton area due to its upbeat and relatable nature causing an influx of new fans.
Oscura always welcomes Kristopher James with open arms and during my interview with Kristopher, he had this to say,
"Oscura has been a beacon of support to not only the music space in and around Manatee county, but to the larger artistic community in greater Florida."
Needless to say, Oscura has a huge fan base for so many different reasons and from so many different kinds of artists around the area.
